Homeschool Monday

September 9, 2013

He finishes a light and fluffy music lesson and I get his (wonderful) teacher to walk through a guitar lesson with me.

I tell him I have to pick up a bed frame–a bit unwieldy. We go to a resale store. He is an impeccable shopper. He details a list of things he wants from the “grocery store.”

I take him to a “grocery store”–not a big box chain. He picks out chips, fixings for s’mores, (“fire it up, Mom!”) and his favorite baked goods.

He tells me it makes him happy when we do stuff together.

Me too, kid, me too.
